We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this charming and quirky cottage. The master bedroom was incredibly spacious and the cottage was much larger than expected. The cleanliness was impeccable, with hand cleaners and wipes provided. The cottage was also very well-equipped, with everything we needed and more. The host was fantastic, providing all the necessary information before our arrival and checking in on us throughout our stay. The location was perfect, with the town center and beautiful river just a short walk away. The horse-drawn canal ride and the Pontcyslite Aqueduct were definite highlights.
There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. The lack of bins in the rooms was a bit inconvenient, and the mirrors for makeup and lighting could have been better.

The location of this cottage couldn’t be better, just a 2-minute walk to the center of town. There was ample parking available nearby, just a short stroll away. The host was very helpful and welcoming, even providing cake and tea upon arrival.
Additionally, the cottage could benefit from providing firewood and firelighters for the log burner, as these were not supplied.
